To introduce school students to the creative processes used by Robert Jarvis.
To encourage students to think 'outside the box'.
To challenge their pre-project preconceptions.

To encourage teachers to allow the students enough 'space' to maximise both their critical and creative abilities.
To help the students structure their ideas and express them in the composition of a piece of music.
To give the students an insight into the life and values of at least one contemporary musician.
OBJECTIVES
To create a series of compositions in collaboration with composer Robert Jarvis.
To perform these compositions and record them for CD.
To introduce the students and participating staff to contemporary composition technique.
To raise the students' awareness of listening.
